Ms. Moore's practice is focused primarily on complex real estate and permitting transactions, with a particular focus on issues and transactions involving large utility companies. Ms. Moore works closely with a major electric company in a wide variety of matters, including property rights and restrictions analysis, the sale and acquisition of lands and easements, and on issues relating to the local siting, permitting and licensing of major utility facilities such as high voltage transmission lines and substations. Ms. Moore is presently an integral part of major multi-state utility siting projects that require state level licensing with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities and the State of Rhode Island Energy Facility Siting Board, extensive community outreach, and coordination with teams of designers, engineers and environmental consultants. |
