Ms. Pizzi’s practice focuses on real estate litigation and permitting, with a particular emphasis on land use and zoning law. Ms. Pizzi represents builders, developers and property owners seeking all types of permits and approvals, including special permits, site plan approvals and variances. Ms. Pizzi regularly appears before zoning boards and planning boards, as well as other local boards, in connection with seeking such permits and approvals, as well as for purposes of presenting or defending administrative appeals. In addition to property owners and developers, Ms. Pizzi represents educational and religious nonprofit institutions and project abutters and neighborhood associations.
Ms. Pizzi’s litigation experience includes all types of real estate disputes, including adverse possession, construction, environmental, breach of contract, specific performance, nuisance, landlord/tenant disputes, obtaining injunctive and declaratory relief, as well as pursuing project approvals and appealing project denials in court when necessary. Ms. Pizzi appears in courts throughout Massachusetts, including the District Courts, Superior Courts, Land Court and United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
