Press Release: Bowditch & Dewey Promotes Employment Attorney Robert G. Young to Partner
FRAMINGHAM (December 16, 2015) – – Bowditch & Dewey today announced that Robert G. Young has been named as a partner in the Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits group.
Young concentrates his practice in a diverse range of employment matters, including discrimination and retaliation, noncompetition, trade secrets, and wage-and-hour matters. He advises businesses, banks, municipalities, higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations on both litigation and non-litigation matters, such as employee discipline, medical leave and negotiating agreements. Young established and leads Bowditch & Dewey’s Craft Brewery practice, serving craft breweries, ciders and industry distributors.

Before joining Bowditch last year, Young practiced 13 years at the former Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP (now Locke Lord LLP). He graduated, magna cum laude, from Boston University School of law, after receiving his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, also from BU. He is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and Boston Bar Association.
