Press Release: Bowditch & Dewey Promotes Trial Attorney AiVi Nguyen to Partner

WORCESTER (January 4, 2015) – – Bowditch & Dewey today announced that AiVi Nguyen has been named a partner of the firm.

Ms. Nguyen is a trial attorney who concentrates her practice in business and employment litigation. She represents a diverse range of clients in adversarial proceedings at the trial level in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut as well as the Massachusetts Appellate Courts and in various Federal District and Circuit Courts. She also represents clients before state regulatory and adjudicatory agencies. Ms. Nguyen is Chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee.

With strong ties to the Worcester community where she grew up, Ms. Nguyen serves as a trustee of Quinsigamond Community College and was recently appointed to the City of Worcester’s newly-formed Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Committee.  The seven-member committee, chosen by City Manager Edward M. Augustus, Jr., advises city officials on diversity in recruitment, hiring, promotions and employee retention. She also sits on the Worcester advisory board of the Bottom Line, an organization which works with high school students as they start the college application process.

Ms. Nguyen graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and received her J.D. from Boston College Law School. She serves as the Boston Committee Member of the National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys, and is active in numerous legal associations including the Worcester County Bar Association and the Asian-American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts.
