Bob Cox presents at “Site Remediation and Redevelopment Program Series – Part One – Transaction, Funding Aids and Project Set-Up” hosted by Environmental Business Council New England
The series will provide an interactive case study of the trials and tribulations of developing an old contaminated industrial property into a new and vibrant use. Attendees will observe the interaction between a mock buyer and a mock seller during the process of acquisition negotiations, site assessment, resolution of assessment results, among other developmental challenges.
This first program, Part One: Transaction, Funding Aids, and Project Set-up, will provide insight into how buyer and seller teams posture and strategize to complete a deal where multiple environmental issues exist. Bob Cox will teach at this first installment, which will focus on transaction, funding aids and project set-up. Bob will act as part of a mock seller team discussing the pending sale of a contaminated piece of real estate. Participants will then take part in a panel discussion to facilitate observations and questions with the audience, as well as an introduction to Part Two.
