Tax Reform Under the Trump Administration: What Practitioners Should Expect
On Tuesday, May 23 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, Matthew Morris will present on a panel presentation at the Boston Bar Association entitled, “Tax Reform Under the Trump Administration: What Practitioners Should Expect.” The experts on this panel will address the details and wider policy implications of President Trump’s proposed tax reforms, including: the border adjustment tax, lowering the corporate income and flow-through business tax rate to 15%, repatriation of foreign earnings, adopting a territorial corporate tax system, and practical obstacles associated with passing comprehensive tax legislation.
Each member of our panel brings a unique perspective and background to the table, including tax legislation and policy, domestic and international corporate tax, taxation of flow-through entities, and individual/estate & gift tax. We anticipate that tax experts and non-experts alike will benefit from this comprehensive analysis and discussion of President Trump’s tax policies.
