Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay to Host the Bowditch-Sponsored Daquan Burrell Memorial Big Golf Tournament
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay will host the Daquan Burrell Memorial Big Golf Tournament on June 18, starting at 9 a.m. at the Stow Acres Country Club in Stow, sponsored by Bowditch.
The tournament, which has been run by active and retired Big Brothers since 2003, has raised more than $500,000 to benefit the organization’s mission of serving children in Boston’s highest-risk communities and matching them to a mentor. It was renamed in honor of Daquan Burrell, a Little brother who was lost under tragic circumstances in 2017.
The day will begin with a shotgun start, followed by a cocktail reception, dinner and a speaking program.
