Bowditch to Sponsor SMOC’s Purple Passion 5K Walk/Run September 21
The South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC) will host its 8th Annual Purple Passion 5K Walk/Run to support Voices Against Violence at 7 a.m. at its headquarters September 21, sponsored by Bowditch.
The annual walk supports work to end sexual and domestic violence in the community and help survivors rebuild their lives. Former Framingham City Clerk Valerie Mulvey will serve as the event’s Honorary Chair. Participants can either walk or run the course, followed by family activities like face painting, crafts and snacks.
