Bowditch to Sponsor Worcester Education Collaborative’s 10th Annual Meeting on October 29

The Worcester Education Collaborative (WEC) will host its 10th Annual Meeting at 5 p.m. on October 29 at Mechanics Hall in Worcester, sponsored by Bowditch.

The Bassett Lecture will be delivered by John B. King Jr., president and CEO of The Education Trust and past Secretary of Education for the Obama administration. John will be presented with the Apple of Different Color Award, which WEC periodically awards to a visionary in the education field.

The WEC is an independent organization with a mission to engage the community to ensure excellence in education is available to all public school students, and that they are prepared for college, career and life.
