Patrick Tracey joins Suffolk University Law School Alumni Board of Directors
Patrick Tracey has joined Suffolk University Law School Alumni’s Board of Directors. He is an experienced commercial litigator and focuses his practice representing and counseling clients in connection with complex litigation involving class actions, regulatory investigations, financial services and consumer finance matters for corporations and financial institutions.
A graduate of Suffolk University Law School (SULS), Patrick wants to provide a path to “further facilitate engagement of prospective students and alumni alike by providing a voice regarding the institution’s critical mission of academic growth.” SULS helped prepare Patrick for his career, and now he wants the opportunity to give back and support the school’s present and future alumni. “My desire to join the alumni board is driven by a compunction to contribute to the school through engagement and participation. The law school afforded me many professional opportunities and fostered a network of personal contacts which all continue to contribute to my career. My interest in joining the SULS Alumni Board provides the opportunity to give back to the institution by acting as a steward through service and leadership.”
This position allows Patrick to ensure that alumni feel welcomed and engaged by the SULS community. He will support the board’s strategic plan to promote the involvement of alumni. “I intend to actively engage alumni to support the SULS community through programs, services and fostering communication with the institution. I believe strengthening alumni relationships with the institution will serve the alumni, students and the community at large.”
Suffolk Law School has four top 25 legal skills programs and the #1 ranking in legal technology. Its graduates have achieved “extraordinary professional success” for over 100 years. The Alumni Board of Directors “connects fellow alumni with each other and Suffolk University through social and business networking opportunities and advances Suffolk and the Law School by assisting with student and alumni career development, admissions outreach, and fundraising initiatives.”
