David Felper Quoted in The MetroWest Daily News’ “MetroWest teachers concerned laws don’t keep them safe in the classroom”
As we approach the beginning of the new school year, there are growing concerns among teachers about their safety as they go back to school. They are concerned that the current laws in place aren’t enough to keep them safe. The MetroWest Daily News spoke with David Felper about the legal aspect of these concerns.
“Just because you can do it, it’s not always best,” Felper said of management’s option to take disciplinary action. It could result in negative consequences for school departments, like losing good workers, increased rates of staff absenteeism and lower productivity.
