WCVB Talks with Bob Young in “Employees become enforcers? Businesses question how to know if customers are fully vaccinated”
Although the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued recent guidance that individuals fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no longer need to wear masks, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has not lifted the indoor mask mandate, causing some business owners to question how to handle requiring masks at their place of business. Bob Young spoke with WCVB Channel 5 about how private businesses can best handle the situation.
“Private businesses will be allowed to ask customers about their vaccination status, but customers won’t have to respond.
The business can set the terms for entry into the business to provide whatever service it’s going to provide, but it’s up to each customer whether they want to accept those terms.”
