Mark Borenstein Quoted in The Recorder’s “Deerfield ZBA OKs Tree House’s permit for restaurant, concert venue, with 3 conditions”

Tree House Brewing has received approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals for a special permit amendment with three conditions.  As a result, this permit allows Tree House Brewing to have a restaurant and concert venue on site.  However, there were concerns about the noise that would result from the proposed outdoor concerts.  As part of the permits’ conditions, Tree House Brewing has plans in place to make sure their live entertainment isn’t disruptive to neighbors.  The Recorder spoke with Mark Borenstein, who is representing Tree House Brewing, about these noise concerns.

“Tree House is proposing live entertainment and ticketed concerts … alternative bands, indie bands, we’re not talking heavy metal bands,” Borenstein said. “Besides genre of music, we’re held by decibel levels. … There will be a police detail at all concerts.”
