Press Release: Tracy Thomas Boland Joins Bowditch & Dewey’s Employment and Labor Group as Partner
Boland Brings Two Decades of Experience in Employment Law to Practice
Boston, Framingham and Worcester, Mass., August 9, 2021— Bowditch & Dewey has announced the addition of Attorney Tracy Thomas Boland as a Partner in the practice’s Employment and Labor Group. Ms. Boland brings her extensive experience working on the full range of employment law issues, including performance management, investigations, wage and hour issues, discrimination and harassment issues and investigations, and reductions in workforce. She also supports clients as they work through legal issues such as pay equity and helps to navigate the ever-growing number of paid leave laws.

Ms. Boland’s experience in litigation includes leading clients successfully through jury trials and oral argument before the First Circuit Court of Appeals. She also has extensive experience and success in preserving her client’s resources by resolving matters through settlement. As part of the Employment Practice, Ms. Boland will be instrumental in drafting and revising workplace policies, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and severance and settlement agreements.

Currently, Ms. Boland is a member of the Massachusetts, Boston and Women’s Bar Associations, and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of and active speaker for a number of Human Resources trade groups as well as HFTP (an organization of private clubs and hotels) and the New England Club Managers Association.
Ms. Boland is a graduate of the University of Vermont (B.A., 1994) and New England School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 1997). After law school, she served as a judicial law clerk to MA Superior Court and Probate and Family Court. Ms. Boland is a member of the bars of MA, the U.S. District Court for the District of MA and the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the state and federal courts of CT.
