Massachusetts’ highest court recently heard oral arguments in Jinks, et al. v. Credico (USA) LLC, et al.  The case will give the justices the opportunity to clarify whether courts should be looking to the state’s independent contractor law, G.L.c. 149, §148, to establish who can qualify as a “joint employer.”
