Press Release: Neal Pandozzi Joins Bowditch’s Business & Finance Group as Partner
Worcester, Framingham and Boston, MA—November 1, 2022—Neal Pandozzi, an accomplished business attorney with more than two decades of experience, has joined Bowditch & Dewey’s Business & Finance Group. He is based in the firm’s Boston office.
Named “Lawyer of the Year” in the field of Public Finance Law for Providence, RI, in Best Lawyers’ 2023, Pandozzi has represented state and local governments, quasi-public corporations, nonprofit and for-profit corporations, investment banks and commercial banks in financing transactions throughout New England. He is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers.

Pandozzi has vast experience in New England public finance, having served as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, borrower’s counsel, underwriter’s counsel, lender’s counsel, and trustee’s counsel in a wide variety of bond transactions, including general obligation bonds, conduit revenue bonds benefitting 501(c)(3) corporations, taxable and tax-exempt industrial revenue bonds, certificates of participation and tax-exempt leases. During his career, Pandozzi has participated in the financing of numerous public sector projects, such as drinking water and wastewater systems, infrastructure projects, energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, higher education and hospital facilities, airports, stadiums, student loan financings and multi-family housing developments.
Pandozzi has also represented clients in connection with various commercial lending transactions, ranging from simple unsecured lines of credit to sophisticated collateralized loan facilities. Pandozzi recently served as borrower’s counsel for the financing of an automobile dealership and lender’s counsel for a project consisting of the acquisition, construction, furnishing and equipping of vacant commercial space into a sophisticated food hall. He also regularly advises clients regarding general corporate and business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and governance and contract negotiations.
He graduated magna cum laude from Providence College and earned his law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of the law review. He also earned a Master of Laws from Boston University School of Law. As an alumnus, Pandozzi remains actively involved with the Moses Brown School in Providence, Rhode Island.
Pandozzi has been a featured presenter at seminars covering various public finance and banking law topics, most recently with respect to the LIBOR transition. He is admitted to the Massachusetts and Rhode Island bars.
