Lynette Paczkowski Elected Chair of Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass & MetroWest
Lynette Paczkowski has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Central Mass & MetroWest. Lynette previously served as vice-chair of the Board for two years and has volunteered for the organization since 2019. She has served on numerous subcommittees and is co-chair of the 60th Anniversary Big Celebration, which will be held on April 1, 2023.
Founded in 1963, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass & MetroWest has supported children in the community through individualized mentoring programs for 60 years, providing the social and emotional development needed for kids to build resilience, mental health and well-being. Speaking about her election at the BBBS Annual Meeting, Lynette said:
“I feel very fortunate to be stepping into the role of Board Chair at this time. Not only do I get to build off of the momentum and energy of 2022, but 2023 marks such a huge milestone for the agency – 60 years of matches and mentors! I look forward to working with the Board, with Connie, our CEO, and with the staff to reach even more youth across our 87 cities and towns.”
