Neal Pandozzi Presented “ESG Issues and Implications” at the National Association of Health and Educational Facilities Finance Authorities Fall Conference
Neal Pandozzi presented the session “ESG Issues and Implications” at the National Association of Health and Educational Facilities Finance Authorities Fall Conference in Burlington, Vermont. The multi-day conference provided informative sessions on a variety of topics focused on key issues that directly influence the availability of, or access to, tax-exempt financing for healthcare and higher educational institutions.
Neal was joined by Vermont State Treasurer Mike Pieciak who co-presented the session. Neal and Mike focused on the evolution of ESG in municipal finance, starting with its history and use in municipal bond issues to the current politicization of the concept, including anti-boycott laws affecting underwriters and other market participants and outright bans on ESG bonds.
