Amy Morrissey, Andrew Stern, George Tetler Spoke at Worcester Life Sciences Summit
The Worcester Life Sciences Summit on October 24 engaged attendees in the exchange of ideas, best practices, opportunities, and latest trends in the future of life sciences in Massachusetts. Attendees included representatives from life sciences companies, investors, and developers from the Commonwealth and New England.
At the conference, Amy Morrissey and Andrew Stern presented “Navigating Drug Development with AI.” During their session participant learned how to leverage AI to assist with drug development while understanding the potential legal hurdles. Additional panelists included experts in biotech who provided their perspective about what works and doesn’t work in this technological climate. Attendees also found out how AI can change the way companies develop drugs and/or learn new uses while gaining perspective from Amy and Andrew about concerns related to drug development using AI.
The event also featured George Tetler who moderated a panel about trends and future challenges in the commercialization process. During the discussion, panelists “walked through” the commercialization process, giving examples of the types of interactions between academia and industry and challenges and trends identified in the process.
