Samantha McDonald Writes “10 things I know about … Sustainable development, part 2” for the Worcester Business Journal

The first part of Samantha McDonald’s column on sustainable development appeared in the January 8 edition of the Worcester Business Journal. In the second installment of the article “10 things I know about … Sustainable development, part 2” Samantha discusses five additional topics, including why premium gas ranges will fall out of fashion, the new look for parking lots in multifamily buildings, and Worcester’s ambitious goals and progress in its quest to become the nation’s greenest midsize city. Below is an excerpt from the article:

8) Parking lots will look different. 20% of all parking spaces in new multifamily buildings must be wired for electric vehicle chargers. Builders aren’t required to install them under the code, but the demand for EVs from tenants will grow.
