The new Title IX regulations, which include more than 1,500 pages of preamble and regulations, have been released and the August 1, 2024, compliance deadline is fast approaching. On May 29, Amy Fabiano and a panel of experts provided a deeper dive into the regulations, as well as insights into key decision points and a checklist for institutions as they change existing policies and procedures. The webinar, which was hosted by the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Chapters of the Association of Independent Colleges & Universities, also offered a robust Q&A session, including potential conflicts between the new Title IX regulations and existing Massachusetts and Rhode Island law.
