Title IX Regulations Compliance Check-in: Title IX Implementation Challenges (Higher Education Roundtable)

The Title IX regulations became effective on August 1, 2024. In the days and weeks leading up to and following implementation, colleges across the country are updating their policies and procedures, notices of nondiscrimination, and conducted extensive training. 

On August 22, 2024, we held the fourth of our monthly Compliance Check-ins, where we reviewed implementation challenges and opportunities that colleges are facing now that the 2024 regulations are in effect. With students returning to campus for the fall semester, how are things going? What challenges do you expect your campus to face this academic year under Title IX? How are you handling or preparing to handle the influx of cases under the new regulations and during the fall “Red Zone” period? How has your training of employees been deployed? We discussed these topics and more.
