Press Release: Women’s Bar Association Honors Nina T. Dow as Emerging Woman Leader in the Law

Boston, Framingham and Worcester, Mass. – Oct. 22, 2024 – Nina T. Dow, an attorney at Bowditch & Dewey, was named an Emerging Woman Leader in the Law by the Women’s Bar Association (WBA). 

One of four attorneys to receive the coveted award this year, Dow works in the firm’s Estate, Financial & Tax Planning practice area. She co-founded and sits on the board of the first Arab American Bar Association of Massachusetts and is co-chair of the Worcester County Bar Association’s Tax, Trusts and Estates section. She was also a member of Leadership Worcester’s Class of 2021.  

The award honors female attorneys who have had significant professional achievements early in their legal careers and helps promote the status of women in the legal profession. Dow and the other honorees were celebrated at the WBA’s annual gala last week.  

In her practice, Dow focuses on estate planning including the minimization of transfer taxes, business succession planning, representation of corporate and individual fiduciaries, and planning for individuals with special needs. In her probate practice, she counsels families through the complexities of estate administration. Nina strives to empower clients by helping them understand the law.

Dow, who completed her undergraduate studies at Emerson College, went on to earn her law degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
