Kathy Garrahan elected Chair-Elect to the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
At the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Awards Gala on November 9th, Kathy Garrahan was elected Chair-Elect to the Board of Directors. She will serve as Chair-Elect during 2018, then Chair in 2019, followed by Immediate Past Chair in 2020.
Kathy has served on the MetroWest Chamber Board of Directors for four years. For the past two years, she has served as a Vice Chair for the Board for Economic Development and Public Policy, and has chaired its Economic Development and Public Policy Committee. She will continue on as co-chair for that committee next year. The Committee focuses on municipal, state and federal legislation that effect businesses located in 23 MetroWest towns, evaluating and weighing in on policy issues ranging from zoning by-laws to housing, transportation, healthcare, and employment.
This leadership role reflects not only Kathy’s devotion to serving the community, but also the way in which Bowditch & Dewey is dedicated to playing an active role in the surrounding communities.
