Press Release: Bowditch & Dewey Welcomes Real Estate and Environmental Partner Samantha McDonald
Worcester, MA – January 8, 2018 –Bowditch & Dewey announced today that Samantha McDonald has joined the firm as a partner in the real estate and environmental practice area.
Ms. McDonald focuses her practice on business and real estate property law. She represents clients in a wide range of matters, including the purchase and sale of businesses, landlord-tenant disputes, land use and development, and surrounding property issues.

Ms. McDonald is a member of the Worcester County Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association and the American Bar Association, including the organization’s Environment, Energy & Resources and the Real Property, Trust & Estates Sections.
In addition, she is an active member of the community, currently serving as a director of the Worcester Regional Research Bureau, and a Corporator of the Greater Worcester Community Foundation and of Music Worcester. She recently completed a term as chair of the Board of Directors at Y.O.U., Inc. of Worcester, is past president of ARTSWorcester, and served on the Steering Committee for the Women’s Initiative of the United Way of Central Massachusetts. Ms. McDonald is a member of the environmental preservation groups, Wachusett Greenways and the White Oak Land Trust.
Ms. McDonald has been honored as a recipient of the 2014 Pro Bono Publico Award from Community Legal Aid and was selected as a member of Leadership Worcester, a joint program of the Greater Worcester Community Foundation and the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2016. She has also been recognized as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” In 2015, 2016, and 2017.
Ms. McDonald received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and a B.A., cum laude, from Clark University in environmental studies.
