Lynette Paczkowski Chairs WCBA Annual Law Day Celebration
Established by President Eisenhower in 1958, Law Day is celebrated nationally on May 1 to recognize the rule of law and how it contributes to the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.
As President-Elect, Lynette Paczkowski chaired this year’s Law Day committee. The day included a breakfast program, a special sitting of the Appeals Court in Worcester, and a seminar presented by the Appeals Court justices and retired Appeals Court Justice, the Honorable Francis Fecteau. Highlights of the breakfast included the presentations of the WCBA Liberty Bell Award and MBA Community Service Award, recognition for the WCBA 8th grade essay contest winner, and guest speaker Congressman Jim McGovern.
