Worcester Telegram Quotes AiVi Nguyen in “Quinsigamond Community College grads ‘deserve to be proud’”
AiVi Nguyen, partner in the firm’s Litigation practice, served as the speaker for Quinsigamond Community College’s 54th commencement exercises on May 23, where she was met with a standing ovation.
The Worcester Telegram article quotes AiVi as saying:
Commencement speaker AiVi Nguyen, who is a trial attorney at Worcester-based Bowditch & Dewey, said some graduates might be embarrassed to participate in graduation exercises because QCC is a two-year community college that awards an associate degree.
“I would look at them and say, ‘embarrassed about what? Embarrassed to be getting a top-notch education and being able to ease into the workforce without being saddled by a ton of debt?’”
“What am I missing?” she asked.
“We each have our own unique story,” Ms. Nguyen noted. “There are so many things in this life that we cannot control. But the one thing we can always control is how we tell our story.”
