Donna Truex Quoted in Worcester Chamber’s “Defining a New Brand of E.D. in Worcester’s Era of ‘Renaissance'”
There is a new developer propelling the renaissance currently taking place in Worcester, and that is Bo Menkiti, founder and CEO of the Menkiti Group in Washington, D.C. Menkiti strategically invests in buildings in certain pockets of Worcester, particularly communities that could use an economic development boost. Menkiti first shared his unique vision with the Worcester community at Bowditch’s Annual Economic Development Summit on November 14, 2019.
Bowditch Partner Donna Truex commented to the Worcester Chamber’s Exchange newspaper:
Whereas other investors might be more worried about instant return on investment, the Menkiti Group is not afraid to transform a neighborhood one building at a time, taking the long view.
Sometimes the small things make a big difference. I would like to see the national attention the Menkiti Group has spurred for Worcester catch among other high-level development firms.
