Jay Lander of Lander & Lander Selects Bowditch’s Estate Planning Group for Practice Succession

Two years ago, Jay Lander, formerly of Lander & Lander, chose Bowditch’s Estate, Financial & Tax Planning Group as his practice succession plan upon his retirement, effective today.  John Shoro and Kristin Shirahama, partners, are key members of the transition team and the primary points of contact for clients.

Bowditch is listed in U.S. News & World Report‘s rankings of the 2021 Edition of “Best Law Firms” for Trusts & Estate Law.  The robust practice includes estate planning, trust administration, family law and probate, tax and tax controversy.

Jay’s practice focused exclusively in the areas of sophisticated estate planning, estate administration and related taxation since 1962.  He provided legal advice in connection with the administration of estates, including and without limitation, estate tax compliance and the liquidation and distribution of estate and trust assets.
