Joshua Lee Smith Quoted in Worcester Telegram’s “Worcester Planning Board OKs plan for 371-unit apartment complex on Mount Carmel Church site”
The definitive site plan for an apartment complex has been approved by the Planning Board. The apartment complex will be built on the former site of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Joshua Lee Smith is representing Wood Partners East Acquisitions (WP East), the developers of the apartment complex. He spoke to the Worcester Telegram about the project.
Joshua Lee Smith, a lawyer with Bowditch & Dewey representing WP East, told the board that the development will provide another influx of housing in the downtown area that will in turn support area businesses.
“By its nature, this will literally provide feet on the street,” he said.
