Brigid Harrington Served on the Boston Bar Association’s “Higher Education Legal Conference” Advisory Committee
The “Higher Education Legal Conference,” which highlights the complex legal needs of higher education institutions, returned to an in-person format this year. Hosted by the Boston Bar Association on April 28, the conference was spearheaded by a seven-person advisory committee. A member of the advisory committee, Brigid Harrington helped shape the agenda for the event and moderated the session “Mental Health on Campus.” During the conference, attendees heard from speakers who discussed the emerging trends and challenges faced by college and university in-house and outside counsel, including new global privacy regulations, DEI initiatives on campus, the legal implications of industry collaborations, COVID accommodations, mental health on campus, staffing challenges, and more.
