Real estate and land use attorney Amanda Zuretti focuses her practice on affordable and market rate housing development and sustainable energy projects.
She is Chair of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s (MBA) Public Law Section Council and an active member of the Massachusetts Municipal Lawyers Association (MMLA), the Real Estate Bar Association (REBA) and the Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition.
Amanda has taught and facilitated programs for the MBA, the MMLA, REBA and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) on practicing with professionalism; legislative drafting; mortgage and tax foreclosure; preserving agricultural and forest land; and municipal management of abandoned and distressed real estate.
Amanda is also a co-editor of the Commercial Real Estate Insight & News blog.
Before Bowditch
Prior to Bowditch, Amanda’s expertise in land title and municipal law led her to a position as underwriting counsel to Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company and then to a MetroWest law firm serving as counsel to several Massachusetts municipalities and public agencies.
Besides work
Amanda is a cyclist, kayaker and hiker who holds several Mass Wildlife outdoor skills certificates.

- Advised public bodies on compliance requirements of the Open Meeting Law, M.G.L. c. 30A, §§ 18-25 and the Attorney General’s regulations at 940 CMR 29.00, et. seq.
- Responded to complaints filed with the Attorney General’s Division of Open Government against public bodies and advised Records Access Officers as to disclosure of public records [as defined under the Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c. 66, § 10] and the exemptions from disclosure [under M.G.L. c. 4, § 7, clause Twenty-sixth or other legally applicable privileges] and reporting requirements pertaining to access to particular records in accordance with 950 CMR 32.00
