Nina Dow Named to Greater Worcester Community Foundation’s Professional Advisors Council
Nina Dow has been named to the Greater Worcester Community Foundation’s Professional Advisors Council. The Council is a group of financial advisors and investment managers who work with the Foundation to help clients plan charitable giving.
The Greater Worcester Community Foundation serves the needs of residents across the 60 towns and cities that make up Worcester County and provides support and resources to improve the lives of the more than 850,000 people who call the area home. It is one of the 30 largest foundations in Massachusetts and one of the 120 largest community foundations in the country.
A partner in the firm’s Estate, Financial & Tax Planning practice area, Nina focuses her practice on planning to minimize transfer taxes, including estate and tax planning that involves charitable giving, business succession planning, the representation of corporate and individual fiduciaries, and planning for individuals with special needs. In addition to helping clients create an estate plan, Nina’s tax practice involves working closely with families to prepare state and federal estate tax returns following the death of a loved one.
