MCWRS is holding the 8th annual symposium on water resources issues. The symposium will feature an exceptional program of presentations from water industry professionals and state and municipal officials. Each will outline actionable strategies and practical applications to help officials meet their water infrastructure challenges with limited resources for community services.
The symposium is designed to benefit municipal elected officials, public works and engineering staff, regional planning agency staff, and consultants engaged by communities to assist with issues concerning drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and Clean Water Act compliance.
Environmental lawyer Bob Cox will serve as moderator for the day long program and be presenting on what’s new in Region I on the legal and regulatory side of water management. The presentation will provide an update to last year’s program to review recent developments in case law, administrative decisions, and regulations concerning drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and Clean Water Act compliance.
The Coalition is pleased to announce that this year’s keynote address will be given by:
George Hawkins
CEO and General Manager, DC Water
