Amanda Zuretti Appointed Chair of Public Law Section Council for Massachusetts Bar Association
Amanda Zuretti has been appointed Chair of the Public Law Section Council for the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA). In her role as Chair of the Council, Amanda will bring forward issues and proposals affecting the practice of law across the commonwealth. Her appointment is the result of her strong commitment to the MBA and the legal profession as well as her expertise and reputation for professional excellence. Amanda previously served as the Council’s Vice-Chair.
At Bowditch, Amanda focuses her practice on real estate, land use, municipal law and public procurement. She has also developed a subspecialty in local telecommunications regulations. Amanda is involved in the Massachusetts Municipal Lawyers Association (MMLA), the Real Estate Bar Association (REBA) and the Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition. She is also s member of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Tiered Community Mentoring Program, which introduces high school students to information about college, provides pre-law college students with information about the law school admission process, and gives law students an inside view of the practice of law with their attorney mentors. Amanda teaches and facilitates programs for the MBA, the MMLA, REBA and MCLE on practicing with professionalism, legislation, drafting, mortgage and tax foreclosure, preserving agricultural and forest land, preservation, and municipal management of abandoned and nuisance real estate.
