The Massachusetts craft brewery industry is experiencing a slowdown due to a shift in consumer preferences and a decline in sales. Paul Bauer spoke with Bisnow about the challenges of securing new tenants for vacated properties and the issues associated with offloading these properties when they need to be sold.
Paul stated that breweries are often located in industrial buildings that have been remodeled to include a retail component and the spaces are unusual. “The question is, can some new user go in there, or does it revert to industrial use?”
