Administrative Operations Supervisor

We have an opening for an experienced Administrative Operations Supervisor. Reporting to the Executive Director, this individual is responsible for ensuring that the administrative support function runs smoothly and efficiently so that attorneys and staff may provide the best service possible to clients. Responsibilities include the supervision of legal assistants and the office services team. This role is ideal for someone who has served in an office manager capacity and would like to expand their responsibility to the oversight of multiple office locations.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Supervision and coordination of approximately 20 individuals across four Massachusetts office locations. In coordination with attorneys, paralegals and other managers, conduct annual performance reviews for the legal assistants.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the team to support a culture of continuous improvement and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
  • Responsibility for general office operations including the management of vendors, coordination with building management, records management and other day-to day office procedures.
  • Lead projects and initiatives relating to the administrative support function and providing support for the projects of the various business operations departments including documenting key processes and procedures.
  • Must be a quick learner, be nimble, flexible and goal oriented and have solid interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
  • Prior supervisory experience is essential.
  • Must be a leader who can work with others to resolve issues and devise long-term solutions as appropriate.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Individual’s primary office location will be Worcester and our hybrid working environment requires the individual to work out of the office three days per week. Individual must be able to travel to all office locations as business needs dictate.

Qualified candidates must have excellent organizational, technology, communication, and interpersonal skills and a minimum of five years of related office management experience. Experience in a Law Firm or Professional Services setting is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional, team‑oriented environment.
