Bowditch Celebrates LGBTQ Pride Month
June is LGBTQ Pride Month! It is celebrated each year during the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan, which were a series of demonstrations by members of the LGBTQ community against an opposing police raid. The Stonewall riots are considered the tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement and paved the way for LGBTQ rights in the United States.
At Bowditch, we demonstrate our commitment to diversity through our internal and external programs, policies, and civic involvement. Continue to our website to learn more about our dedication to diversity, inclusion, and equality for individuals of any race, religion, gender, transgender status, or sexual orientation.
