Boston Business Journal Publishes “ViewPoint: GE Deal Proves ‘Taxachusetts’ Label is More Like the ‘Myth of Massachusetts”
The Boston Business Journal published an opinion piece by John Shoro in its January 22 print edition challenging the long-held notion that the Massachusetts tax climate is inhospitable to businesses. Despite the moniker “Taxachusetts,” the Tax Foundation ranks the Bay State in the middle of the pack with respect to business tax environment. Additionally, the state boasts a large, highly educated workforce that is attractive to cutting-edge businesses.
